Anyone awaiting the release of Bayern Munich’s new home shirt probably did so with little bated breath – the team nicknamed Die Roten (the Reds) have strayed little in the last decade from the iconic red and white.
Unlike recent shirts, a graphic has been swapped out for subtle vertical stripes, and there is more of a white accent, with the trim around the cuffs and neckline and adidas’ trademark three stripes, which have migrated to the sides of the shirt.
The perfect start 💪

It is, on the face of it, a fairly conservative and no-nonsense design, and though there is more to this classic facade than meets the eye, it’s far from breaking Bayern’s sartorial mould.
