Romance FC and Nike have dropped a new kit and it is absolutely glorious. Romance FC is a creative football collective who play in and around Hackney, East London. Founded in 2012 the team is made up of filmmakers, Dj’s, coders and artists - producing events and creating spaces, embracing the mantra, “ you can't rise unless you lift others up with you ”.

Designed by Romance FC’s Aimee Capstick, the kit takes inspiration from classic football shirts from the 80’s and 90’s, with a modern colour gradient twist. The design is really unique and I can't really think of any other shirts it reminds us of.  Probably the closest is the 'Champagne Pink' Juventus shirt loved by Drake or the 2015-16 Deportivo Guadalajara rainbow home shirt.
Each shirt not only looks good but also features key technical qualities such as Nike Dri-FIT fabric for a comfortable fit, ventilated side seams for breathability and raglan sleeves for ease of movement.
The collaboration between Romance FC and Nike Football is one of the first to come from the Nike By You Collaboration Programme.  This is the latest service to launch from the sports brand enabling creativity and the opportunity to showcase your own team within the Jersey shop.

The Romance FC x Nike kit is available in two eye catching colour ways; a short sleeve pink/purple ombre shirt and a long sleeve mint/peach ombre alternative.

It would look great in our Modern Classics collection. You can browse the full offering here

The release of Southampton's 2023 home shirt was more than 2 years in the making. Since the announcement of the club's return to hummel in 2021, a remake of The Saints iconic 1987-1989 home was on the cards.
