2003-05 Arsenal Away LS Shirt Henry 14 (Excellent) XXL

Intro: There was something about Thierry Henry in yellow. Whenever Titi pulled on an Arsenal shirt greatness occurred, but when he donned a yellow Arsenal shirt that greatness went up to another gear unattainable to anyone but the great man himself.  See other Retro Thierry Henry shirts here.

Condition: Excellent - This shirt is in superb condition, with no pulls or bobbles and bright colour throughout.

Condition details: Though nearly 20 years old, this shirt is in top condition. With no damage throughout all areas of the kit, from the crest and sponsor to the official Premier League flock printing on the back, the only thing missing is the tags.

    Things to look out for:

    The Invincibles.

Arsenal’s 2003/04 team need no introduction, but if you were to try and paint a picture of that legendary campaign you’d need to include a smattering of yellows and blues. The bright yellow and blue away kit used for 2003 (and kept on as a third shirt the following season) is notably understated in its aesthetic, but the design shone especially when paired with blue shorts to match the collar.

Speaking of the collar the classic design, complete with a brilliant blue cut-out v, is a masterful addition. The v itself ‘points’ to the O2 sponsor, which is pleasingly in the same shade of electric blue.

Though it would be wrong to single out just one individual player for praise from the Invincibles, Thierry Henry was undoubtedly the figurehead for the team. His 30 league goals, a personal Premier League record, was good enough to win him his first of two European Golden Shoes, and of the many memorable strikes throughout the campaign, moments like Henry’s goal against his old teammate David Seaman (playing for Man City) were framed in Arsenal’s away colours of yellow and blue.
