What are the greatest ever Leeds United jerseys?

1972/73 Leeds United Home (Admiral) 

I mean we could stop this article here.  Look at that shirt.  The Leeds crest stitched on  this perfect collar shirt.  Leeds' partnership with Admiral in the early 1970s is a genuine landmark in English football kit history - this was among the first shirts to carry a manufacturer's branding on the pitch, setting the template for the commercial kit business as we know it today. Don Revie's all-white template with the subtle blue and yellow trim became the look of one of the most feared teams in Europe.

1992 Leeds United

"There's something quite pleasing about the fact the reigning champions have kits made by one of the champions of the kit game in Admiral. Both home and away designs have a lot going for them, starting with the home which features an incredibly tasteful wraparound collar. It looks so good that I honestly can't believe we haven't seen more across the league (it certainly would have boosted my thoughts for Villa and Ipswich amongst others). Where the home kit is understated though, the away kit completely flips the script in the other direction. A daring graphic completely dominates proceedings, but thankfully a strong colour scheme manages to keep the shirt from being completely untamed. This might be a little too much for some, but I'm really glad to see this kind of look." - Phil Delves

1994 Leeds United (Asics)

"Seriously, the very continental central stripe (a sort of thin, Sampdoria look if you like) on the home is one of my favourite looks across the league. This tidy home kit is complemented by a traditional, striking blue and yellow striped away kit. It's a near perfect tandem which proves that Asics can kick it with the best of them." - Phil Delves

1995/96 Leeds United Home (Asics)

The shirt Tony Yeboah made his own — worn for that volley against Liverpool and the equally ridiculous strike against Wimbledon, both still replayed as some of the greatest Premier League goals ever scored. The Asics home template carried over from the '94 kit, but for collectors it's the Yeboah #21 flock that makes this one special, and it's consistently one of the shirts we're asked about most.

1998/00 Leeds United Home (Puma) 

Forever associated with Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink's goalscoring exploits, this Puma home shirt has become one of our best-selling Leeds pieces (see the sales table below). Clean, collared, and unmistakably late-90s - it's a shirt that keeps landing back on our rails.  It will remind you of Lucas Radebe.

2001/02 Leeds United Home (Nike) 

The shirt worn during Leeds' run to the Champions League semi-final, with the likes of Viduka, Kewell and Keane all pulling it on.
