On Friday 13th August we’re adding the wonderful 2021 FC Nordsjælland home shirt to our marketplace!
The question is though; are the FC Nordsjælland shirts actually any good? Should you be setting aside space in your wardrobe as we speak?
Have a read and decide for yourself.
At the time of writing, Football Shirt Collective is the only place in the UK where you can buy the 2021 FC Nordsjælland home shirt! Previously, you had to reach out to the club themselves and arrange with them directly, but now you can save on delivery costs from Denmark and potential import fees.
On top of that the shirts are available BNWT for just £64.99, with multiple sizes available and the usual, speedy delivery options.
Put another way, this shirt is a rare find which will stand out compared to everyone else's PSG and Barcelona shirts.

Before we touch on the details, let’s address an obvious but important point. This shirt looks really, really good.
As a package, this shirt sits in that wonderful spot of being a standout colourway, which feels like a unique design despite actually possessing a number of shared elements. The subliminal pattern is one of Nike’s stock patterns, but I’ve not seen another club apply it as well as Nordsjaelland here. Pinstripes are very in in 2021 but again few teams, if any, have used them as strongly.
This is a shirt that will stand out in any collection, and a design that will age well over time.
3️⃣. The perfect sponsor ❤️💛

Sponsors so often cripple even the best of designs, but the DHL logo on the FC Nordsjaelland home shirt is a rare example of a sponsor that was simply made for the shirt.

Next up we have to talk about the sponsor.
Sponsors so often cripple even the best of designs, but the DHL logo on the FC Nordsjaelland home shirt is a rare example of a sponsor that was simply made for the shirt.
Everything from the colours to the size and shape of the logo fit almost perfectly with the overall design of the shirt. In recent seasons Nordsjælland had used white
4️⃣. The swoosh & crest 🛡

The Nike swoosh and club crest on the 2021 FC Nordsjælland shirts match any other kit you’ll see on the market today.
The raised details on the crest look outstanding, the treatment of the swoosh is better than most top tier teams.

How about those applications?
Shirt applications (manufacturer logo, crest etc.) are an area of the shirt which is often underappreciated, but the Nike swoosh and club crest on the 2021 FC Nordsjælland home shirt match any other kit you’ll see on the market today.
The quality is outstanding, with a combination of a silicone-like material and more of a patch material fabric. The raised details on the crest look outstanding, the treatment of the swoosh is better than most top tier teams and this is one of those shirts which you’ll really enjoy in person.
5️⃣. A club with a purpose🏳️🌈
— Football Shirt Collective (@thefootballsc) October 18, 2021
FC Nordsjælland are a club driven by a desire for social change. That is reflected in their off the field efforts to ensile values in all of their players, and also on the pitch, with this season’s Pride shirt.

I’m not convinced many collectors think twice about the clubs they’re supporting through their shirts (please correct me if I’m wrong!), but for what it’s worth FC Nordsjælland are one of those fascinating clubs who have built a reputation that far exceeds their status.
By all accounts, the Nordsjælland academy isb one of the most successful in the world, with the first team being one of the youngest you’ll find too. The club’s values of sustainability have been praised, and there have been pioneering programmes launched in recent years that help develop talented young players from Africa.
This is the kind of club you’ll see on annual “X teams to manage in Football Manager”, and with this shirt in your wardrobe there’s no reason they couldn’t become your new favourite team.
