Nike has really embraced Portland Thorns’ name in its design vision this year and it pays off big time in the away shirt.
The switch from a black-tipped V-neck to the integrated white round neck is a vast improvement on last year’s offering and really ups the style stakes. As too does the understated but hugely effective white and grey colourway.
But there’s no getting away from the main attraction of this shirt – the thorns that criss-cross the entire design and create its standout look.
I’m not especially keen on the lines down the side but that’s a mere anomaly in this success story.
Do you think it's as good as the Thorns' home shirt?
