My First Football Shirt: Matthew J. Wood
We caught up with illustrator and Crystal Palace fan, Matthew J Wood about his first ever Crystal Palace shirt, his love of a sash and the final whistle of the 2012-13 Play Off final. This interview was part of our My First Football Shirt series.

Crystal Palace home shirt 1990-91, stunning shirt and an incredible season, finishing 3rd in the First Division - the highest league placing in our history.

I've always liked sash shirts so would probably say the Palace adidas-made 1980-83 white home shirt with red/blue sash.
What is your favourite football moment?
Final whistle of the 2012/13 Play-Off Final when Crystal Palace beat Watford 1-0.
