PSG aren’t everyone’s cup of tea.
The Qatar cash, the fact they play their football in a Mickey Mouse league, and Neymar rub some people up the wrong way. Understandable, but then there’s Kylian Mbappe, Edinson Cavani and, of course, their long history of exceptional football kits.
Nike may be reeling off a number of shirts in the AeroSwift template this season, but the stone-coloured PSG away kit may be one of their best in the 2018-19 campaign.
The “light stone” colour scheme of this typically stylish kit is a nod to Paris’ abundance of historic statues and monuments, particularly the iconic Arc de Triomphe. On the nape of the neck, you’ll find a fleur-de-lis, a nod to the Gallic pride, passion and fighting spirit.
It’s slightly let down by the same neck line as Man City’s very strange strip.
A solid effort from Nike to add another beaut to a long line of PSG shirts.
