Shirt Story: After a rebrand a couple of years ago, the aesthetics of FC Nordsjælland have been a stand-out in the Danish Superliga, with their red and yellow colour scheme an eye-catcher on the pitch. But for 2021-22, they have stepped it up, with a pin-striped design complimented by an embossed flame pattern throughout the jersey.
And then there us the sponsor. We last saw DHL appear on Manchester United's 2010s training gear, but the logistics company look completely at home on a FC Nordsjælland shirt, thanks to an almost identical colour scheme, begging the question: What came first, the design or the sponsor?
