Shirt Story: Orange and navy isn’t a common colour combination in football, but Albirex Niigata have been rocking the scheme for a while. The 2017 home shirt is typically Niigata, with the vibrant orange base acting as the backdrop to a tasty upwards chevron through the middle.
Although the sponsor occupies a prominent position, it’s aesthetic actually adds to the shirt with the Japanese symbols bringing plenty of character to proceedings.
