Most people think crazy goalkeeper shirts were exclusively seen in the 90s, and whilst it’s hard to argue with that, we shouldn’t ignore some of the looks we saw in the 00s.

Umbro’s brilliant goalkeeper shirt for Celtic in 2003 demonstrates the kind of lateral thinking which is often overlooked. A classic case of business in front, party in the back, the rear of the shirt makes it look as if you’re staring into a swimming pool.

A traditional black and silver colourway is the only thing holding this design back from something much trippier.
