Shirt Story: This 3rd shirt saw a mixed season for the Marinos, as they finished a disappointing 13th in the J.League, but managed to win the J.League Cup.
Future cult hero, Shunsuke Nakamura, wore this shirt, which despite hitting the pitch in 2001 brings some 90s adidas energy thanks to those long-sleeve cuffs. The club's colours are also represented in the sleeve-length adidas stripes, brining a personal touch to this Y-collared shirt.
