Things to look out for:
At the turn of the millennium, Puma teamed up with Everton. The brand had big shoes to fill, taking over from long-term manufacturers Umbro, and the switch marked the beginning of a new era at Goodison.
Cult figures like Thomas Gravesen and Alessandro Pistone played out their debut seasons in the 2000/01 kits, whilst returning hero Duncan Ferguson also came back in time for the new Puma gear. A certain Paul Gascoigne also arrived one the scene.
The glorious away shirt that year shone in Everton’s traditional away colour of yellow. Yellow shirts are a classic choice, and the slightly golden shade chosen by Puma hits just right. With elegant blue piping swooping in from the sides, and a simple crew neck collar, this shirt looks anything but dated.
