White and black and stars on the sleeves, it can only be 90s Juventus.
Condition: Good
Condition details: Good, bright colours, label in tact, no stains or pulls but Juventus crest has fallen off.
Things to look out for:
Juventus are memorable for their striped kits down the years, but another motif in the 90s stands out just as much: stars on sleeves. Though not a common sight on shirts, Juve made it their own in the decade with a series of away and third kits that played on the look.
Though many of these starred wonders were blue with yellow, the 1998 away took a different approach with a white base and black details. The kit was delightful, a sort of stripped back Juve shirt which blended what you’d typically see on a home kit with the ongoing star element. With the crest on the sleeve too, it was a shirt symbolic of its time.
It’s worth noting that the ‘98 season included a brief cameo from none other than Thierry Henry. He would later go on to do some pretty good things...
