Shirt Story: If you ask someone to name a team who had great Nike shirts in the 90s, they’ll probably mention Dortmund. They should be mentioning PSV in the same breath, though.
PSV had some amazing Nike shirts which rivalled the very best kits in the game, and this 1997 away is no exception. The striking panelled aesthetic almost gives the impression of a set of armour, and the series of white lines running from top to bottom neatly tie in which the traditional stripes looked which the club enjoy on their home shirts.
There’s a timeless quality to any late 90s PSV shirt, and they’re collectability has only risen as time has gone on.
