Shirt Story: The Japan National Team wore this shirt prior to their hosting duties at the 2002 World Cup, and while their tournament shirt went for a plainer look, this jersey went bolder.
The blue body of the shirt is interrupted by silver notches, creating a very effective contrast on the shirt, while the rounded adidas sleeve three-stripes are a hall mark of that era for the German manufacturer.
