Simon Shakeshaft, Daren Burney and Neville Evans have written The Spurs Shirt book - the official history of the Tottenham Hotspur jersey published by Vision Sport Publishing. It's a beautiful book cataloguing the official history of the Tottenham Hotspur jersey.

Spurs have had some iconic shirts over the year. Their 90s kits are often chosen in our favourite football shirt interviews.

If you like Spurs and you like football shirts, The Spurs Shirt is the book for you. There are over 300 pages combining the stories behind the shirts with quality images, detailing the history of each kit including classics from Le Coq Sportif, Hummel and 90s shirt porn from Umbro.

My favourite part of the book was the stories behind how the shirt deals came about such as Bert Patrick leading Admiral's revolution and smelling gold when Spurs signed Ricky Villa and Ossie Ardiles.

It was also interesting to hear the players point of views on shirts. Like how they loved the return to Le Coq Sportif.

The players loved Le Coq Sportif

Le Coq Sportif returned it to its traditions. The players loved Le Coq Sportif shirts, they reverted back to plain and simple and shirt worth of Tottenham Hotspur.

Ledley rates it

This superb book tells the story of the Spurs shirts worn over the decades by generations of Tottenham legends. It’s not just the story of the shirts but the people who wore them, and the games they were featured in.

The first thing that hits you when you get the book is the size and weight of it. You can really feel the blood, sweat and tears that went into researching and storytelling. It really is a piece of art.

The Spurs Shirt is a must read for any Spurs fan and you can order the bookhere from the Spurs official website.
