Robbie Keane was better known for his finishing than his jab whilst at Tottenham Hotspur, but Martin Jol on 5 Live Extra revealed, that his striker got in an almighty dust up with Juventus legend Edgar Davids.

Keane played over 300 games for Spurs scoring 122 goals in the process and only received 2 red cards (during his whole Premier League career) but things went South when he came face to face with the pitbull.

Jol use to warn them off by threatening to get involved

"I used to tell the players, 'If you have a fight, I will grab you'...

But Edgar Davids and Keane kept on going for each other

But we still had a fight after three years. Edgar Davids was fighting Robbie Keane - we had a big problem.

"Robbie Keane was a boxer, you know? He was working out as a boxer so he was quite good... so we had a big problem.

Jol knew he couldn't fine them

"The next day we were playing Blackburn Rovers so we had as problem. You can't fight in training, you know? They knew that. If I fine them, like, 30 grand, Edgar Davids he was there and he said to me, '30 grand! I can go to the city centre and spend 30 grand'. So, for him it was nothing.

So he played some mind games and it all worked out

"I still had to do something so I said, 'Come here... How can you punch Robbie?'

"But he had never punched Robbie. Robbie had gave him two blows on his chin. So Edgar goes, 'Did I punch him boss?!'

"I told him, yes, he had. So, he comes back with his car and they made up, and they played the next day and we beat Blackburn."

Here's the video of old big head, Martin Jol.
