In celebration of a 125-year journey through football history, Werder Bremen and hummel have introduced a distinctive “125 years of SVW” anniversary jersey. This special edition pays tribute to the club’s rich legacy, featuring the modern Werder diamond with the original crest from 1899.

What are the details of the 125 year Werder Bremen anniversary shirt?

The jersey, designed in a dark green colour, elegantly merges the modern Werder diamond with the historic crest from 1899, creating a unique pattern that adorns both the front and back of the jersey.

There are lots of special touches and details.  The spirit of the club is further encapsulated with the motto “Lebenslang grün-weiß” (Lifelong Green-White) printed on the back of the neck, complemented by the 125-year anniversary logo just beneath the collar.

When will the Werder Bremen anniversary be worn on the pitch?

The exclusive anniversary jersey will make its debut during the Bundesliga match against 1. FC Heidenheim at the WESERSTADION on Saturday, 10th February 2024, with the women's team also wearing it in their match against TSG Hoffenheim on the same day.
