The shirts were designed by Inigo Turner who talked us through his collaboration process with Pharrell and the importance of seeing the shirts on the pitch.
"When you launch a new design, until it is worn on the pitch, I think sometimes people don't really accept it. So the perfect example is from this season's Manchester United third kit, where I think the moment fans saw how it looks on players, I think they started to warm to it and it grew on them."
