At FSC we are constantly amazed by the quality of concept designs we see on our social feeds, but, every now and then, we see a design that pushes the world of concepts even further to new heights.
Today’s concept review looks at one such design: a balck and gold Brazil third shirt from @IL_graphic, who has not only designed the shirt but created a full launch video to go with it. Let’s take a closer look at the Brazil concept kit design and launch video!
Whether it’s been LA Galaxy home or Barcelona away, the striking design of a black and gold shirt always looks impressive, and there is surely no international team more fitting of those colours than the five-times World Champions.
As @IL_graphic notes on his renderings, the colour scheme plays on the nation’s ‘golden history’, with the Seleção crest standing out boldly amidst its black base, making the five stars above it all the more clear. It is also joined by the Nike Futura logo, which has made a welcome appearance on several Nike third shirts in recent years.
In an otherwise plain shirt, the ridged design on the shirt also stands out, with these coming down the sides of the black jersey.
Should Nike be paying attention to this launch video?
Before we finish, we have to talk about the accompanying launch video for this Brazil concept kit. There has been a debate that some concepts being designed are better than their real-life alternatives, and now we might be able to say the same about kit launch videos too!
In the short clip we see all of the main elements of the concept design, interspersed with shots of Carlos Alberto, Cafu and Pele wearing the famous yellow shirt, directing us once again to the golden history of the team. This is yet another element of concept design that allows @IL_graphic to stand out in his field, and we are looking forward to seeing more of the same in his future releases.
