100 Word Reviews – The latest shirts in bite-size chunks
The chevron is a staple in shirt design, and in the case of the latest Beijing Guoan home shirt it’s rarely looked more at home.
I’ve not counted, but seemingly hundreds of chevrons adorn the front of this kit, fading in from green to yellow.
It reminds me of one particular Nike template from 2002 that was used for away kits of several teams including Arsenal, Leeds, Porto and Valencia.
Solid yellow cuffs and a matching yellow Swoosh take nothing away from the look, and this is just the latest in a series of interesting Nike kits to come out of China this year.
