There haven’t been too many Barcelona players to don an England shirt over the years. There’s Gary Lineker, of course and most recently Marcus McGuane but neither come close to this guy. Ronaldo.
Ronaldo donned the England shirt when Brazil faced England in the, Sunday, 11 June 1995 Umbro Cup International Challenge Tournament. It was played at Wembley and an England team captained by David Platt when down 1-3 at home to a Brazil team with a young Ronaldo, Edmundo and Juninho.
On the day England were wearing the Umbro red third shirt. It had a huge badge, England crest printed all over the shirt and tidy blue collar. We think its a banger. As did Ronaldo.
