Arsenal and Adidas have announced a £300m shirt partnership from July 1 2019 and everyone is buzzing.
Arsenal, whose kit is currently made by Puma, will move back to Adidas in a move that gets the nostalgic juices flowing.
Adidas were Arsenal’s kit maker in the late 80s and early 90s – an era with some of Arsenal’s most iconic shirts including the notorious Bruised Banana.
Here are 3 of our favourite Arsenal and Adidas shirts that we would love to see comeback next year.
1991-93 Arsenal away shirt
Probably the most divisive shirt in Premier League. Simply you either love it or you hate it. And we absolutely love it.
1992-94 Arsenal home shirt
Its a bit underrated but the 1992 Arsenal home shirt worn when they won the FA + League cup double is a classic. It looks good plus it reminds us of when Tony Adams dropped Steve Morrow.
1993-94 Arsenal away shirt
When I see this shirt all I think of is Ian Wright scoring ridiculous goals. The triple stripe sash. Classic.
