The Everton shirt that was so ugly it became a classic

OK, so Everton weren’t exactly top notch between 1990 and 1992.

They may have had the legendary Howard Kendall, with Tony Cottee and Peter Beardsley chiming in with a few goals, but they weren’t quite at it in the First Division back then, finishing 9th and 12th respectively.

However, they did don an absolute belter of an away kit during those years.

The frankly mental yellow kit with jagged blue stripes may stay true to Everton’s colour scheme, but it was a truly original shirt.
