The 1995-96 Liverpool away shirt had all the hallmarks of a nineties classic.  The green and white grid.  The grandad collar.  The thick sponsor on the front and green Liverpool crest.   It was Adidas at their best.

We asked the good people of Instagram who is reminded them of and there was only one winner.  No not Phil Babb (who did have the one shout out) or even Steve Harkness.  It was God aka Robbie Fowler and his bleached blonde hair.

1995-96 was Robbie Fowler’s most prolific season for Liverpool scoring an obscene 36 goals all with frost tips.  His look was so glorious it inspired Adam Lallana.
