Let me take you back to May. Pre-World Cup heartache, pre-pre-season, pre-Love Island. West Ham United and Umbro launched some rather lovely home and away shirts with the help of none other than Carlton Cole.
The shirts have a simple claret and blue colour set and follow trend the trend of Umbro teams having the logo on the trim of sleeve.
The 2018-19 West Ham home and away shirts performed well in our kits of the season.
A contender for home kit of the season for us. Umbro have gone heavy on the claret and light on the blue and it just works. Classy kit for Manuel Pellegrini’s first season in charge.
Not only are the 2018-19 West Ham home and away shirts bangers but the launch was ace. Old pros like Trevor Brooking and Carlton Cole* to model it along with first teamers like Arnie and Mark Noble.
The only sticking point is why the hell didn’t Marko Arnautovic fold his arms like the rest of the bottom row (Trevor Brooking and Carlton Cole). He totally ruined the symmetry.
Let us what you think of the shirt in the comments below.

* Full disclosure I once had Carlton Cole as my third choice striker in Fantasy Premier League and let me tell you. He bloody smashed it.
