Adidas’s World Cup kits are somewhat hit and miss. The Spain kit is an absolute delight, but then there’s the plain and unadventurous shirts of Morocco. It’s a shame, because they could have done something great, but instead it’s the same kit you’ve seen a million times before, just with different badges.

Mehdi Benatia melted hearts when a picture emerged of him sheltering a child before the 2-1 friendly win over Slovakia, but the kit he’s wearing is one of the most average on show at the tournament. Red with white trim, Adidas haven’t done anything out of the ordinary with the Morocco shirt. A shame, as they could have made it a banger, particularly with the green shorts.

The same vibe as the home shirt. Nothing to shout about, but it isn’t terrible either. Apart from the badge, you could be forgiven for thinking this one’s a Sunday League shirt, rather than one being worn in a World Cup.
