Australia always seem to put on a show at the World Cup, and this time around looks no different. Tim Cahill is still going strong, and the club are likely to upset the odds by getting out of Group C, with the likes of France, Nigeria and Croatia to navigate past. Even if they go out early, they’ll be wearing banging kits when they do.

The Socceroos have a beautiful home shirt this time around. The gold kit not only has a green trim and colour, but the green runs through the sleeves, creating a textured effect. It’s a ripper. Hats off to Nike.

Show me someone who doesn’t like a sash, and I’ll show you someone who’s cold and dead inside. Australia’s deep green away shirt may look slightly like a ODI cricket kit, but we reckon it’s marginally better than the bold and brash home one. Only marginally, though…
Aren’t you supposed to know a bit about shirts and shirt history? You lambaste the Russia one for not looking enough like a Soviet Union shirt when it’s entirely based on a Soviet Union shirt. Then you laud Nike for yet another templated kit. It’s the same as France, same as Man City! Just in yellow. Just like in all previous tournaments Nike have trotted out the same template for all their teams. You should be calling them out for this laziness. The Nigeria shirt at least show’s they can do when they put their minds to it.
