Dimitar Berbatov was an absolute cult icon at Tottenham and Manchester United.
Pretty much everyone loved the silky Bulgarian striker for his seemingly effortless and nonchalant footballing ability. That first touch though.
Anyway, Berbatov and former Tottenham team-mate Robbie Keane were on the sofa this weekend, appearing on Soccer AM.
After shooting the shit for a while, the topic of conversation moved onto management and coaching.
Keane, who also played for Coventry, Liverpool, Leeds and LA Galaxy, said he’d be interested in a career in management now that he’s finally hung up his boots.
Host Lloyd Griffiths then cheekily asks Berbatov and Keane if they’d consider going into management as a duo.
The responses are priceless. Keane says “I’d have to do all the work,” to which Berbatov retorts with characteristic brilliance. Feast your eyes on this:
🗣️ Lloyd: “What about a management duo?”

😎 Berba: “I’d be the face.” pic.twitter.com/2VuTOQuriy

Not sure they’d make the best management duo in history, but you know it’d be great to watch.
