Manchester United’s third kit for next season has been leaked, and it’s sensational.
The navy-and-gold third kit is made by Adidas, who have manufactured the strip entirely from recycled ocean plastic as part of their Parley collaboration.
The ever-reliable Footy Headlines got hold of these images of next season’s kit:
Aesthetically, the kit is pretty classy already, but the ‘For The Oceans’ slogan printed on the inside of the shirt’s collar alludes to the Parley initiative, which Adidas have worked with for some years.
The club’s kit is sure to be a huge PR coup for the initiative, and it’s a pretty impressive way to raise awareness of plastic in the world’s oceans to make football shirts out of what we’ve thrown away.
Kudos to United and Adidas on that one.

I can see the excitement over the innovation of the material as for the design of the garment 2 out of 10.
