Inter Milan may have been flying high after hammering Cagliari 4-0 in the Serie A last night, but the club made one of the most mental kit decisions of the season – and then appeared to go back on it.
Before the game, Inter published a series of images on their social media accounts, suggesting the players would play with their Instagram handles printed on the back of their shirts, rather than their surnames.
Although the likes of Mauro Icardi, Samir Handanovic and Ivan Perisic eventually turned out with their actual, real-life names on their back, the internet went utterly mental.
