Adidas and Nike, the world’s two largest sports companies, are going head to head at the World Cup in 2018, and one of them is absolutely killing it.
German company Adidas dropped their away kits for the 2018 tournament, and they’re doing more than their bit to make their teams look the part.
Germany, Colombia, Argentina, Mexico, Belgium, Japan, Spain, Sweden and hosts Russia all have pretty unique and interesting away strips to look forward to. Have a look.

Nike, who will make the kits for France, England and Brazil, have dropped a few shirts themselves, including Portugal’s this week. But their template is pretty underwhelming.
Portugal’s classy colours make this shirt look good, but is it unique? Not really.
Adidas have clearly put the work into their shirts, with a nod to the retro, which, admittedly, is always going to win us over.
But Nike’s approach seems a bit, well, lazy. The shirts are similar in style to this season’s club kits, just with different colours and badges.
Adidas have reeled off kits like Germany’s 1990-inspired 2018 home strip. Case closed.
