Most Arsenal fans would probably prefer it if their side still played at Highbury.
The iconic home ground hosted club greats from Tony Adams to Thierry Henry, and was the stadium where Arsene Wenger’s great side went an entire season unbeaten.
Highbury was Arsenal’s home between 1913 and 2006 and those who went there witnessed history time and again as some great sides played out their games there.
The Gunners left the ground in 2006, and haven’t quite had as successful a relationship in their new stadium.
And as what could be described as a long transition period continues, many Gooners might be forgiven for pining for Highbury.
Well, friend of the Football Shirt Collective Matthew J I Wood has produced a series of posters of iconic UK football grounds, and his interpretation of Highbury on a clear blue day will warm the coldest of hearts.
