Nike's Nothing Beats a Londoner has got us trawling through the archives of football adverts and this offering from Pepsi will make you want to get to the beach. It stars Barcelona's Ronaldinho, Manchester United's David Beckham, Arsenal's Thierry Henry, Real Madrid's Bobby Carlos and Raul and combines Pepsi, a beach and surf boards.

The lads get involved with some territorial surfers who booted their ball into the sea. Barcelona's Ronaldinho isn't having it and leads the charge with Manchester United's Beckham and Madrid's Raul and Bobby Carlos. Somehow Van Der Vaart even got an invite. It has to be said that Arsenal striker, Thierry Henry, is a bit of a waste man just chilling by drinks whilst the others retrieve the ball. We think it's a classic.  Not only for the talent on show but also the music and the location. Sadly the ad was only cut short as Pepsi ended the campaign following the Tsunami tragedy.

You can view the full ad here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zjl_FP2Fanc

"In light of the recent tragedy in Asia, we at PepsiCo International have taken the decision to put our 2005 Surf themed football campaign on hold for the foreseeable future."
We have a collection of vintage kits worn by each of the players featured in this classic ad. You can browse them all here
