This Manchester City concept kit will make you wish it was 1999 again

Something remarkable happened to Manchester City in 1999.

Nowadays we’re banging on about Sergio Aguero, Leroy Sane and Kevin de Bruyne, but back then City fans were talking about Kevin Horlock (no relation) and Paul Dickov.

Horlock scored a crucial late goal against Gillingham in the 1999 Division Two play-off final before Dickov bagged deep into stoppage time to force extra time. City went on to win on penalties, earning promotion to Division One.

The kit City wore that fateful day at Wembley was beyond iconic. A gaudy yellow-and-black number with the renowned Brother sponsor emblazoned across the front. Remember?
