The 90s were a glorious era for Everton shirt and there was nothing finer than the 1994 offering.
We think the shirt was the absolute nuts for 3 reasons.
It reminds us of when Daniel Amokachi subbed himself on in the FA Cup semi final against Spurs
Paul Rideout went down injured and Joe Royle told Daniel Amokachi to warm up but he just ran on the pitch and ended up scoring the winner.
I wanted them to hold on for a few seconds to see if Paul Rideout (the injured player was ok) but Daniel wandered on to the pitch, the fourth official held up the board, and that was it.
The Everton crest is as big as your hand
Umbro didn’t do subtle in the 90s and the crest on the shirt is absolutely huge.
The Everton crest is emblazoned in the shirt
Not content with a huge club crest, Umbro emblazoned the Everton badge in the shirt itself. It’s everywhere.
