Foggia 2 – 8 AC Milan
Here are 5 things we learnt:
Arrgio Sachi was the don
The former AC Milan was in the crowd and he looked magnificent.
Ruud Gullit had an amazing mullet
He was also had skills. The Dutchman set up Milan’s 1st (crossing to Maldini to nod in) against the run of play with a left foot cross.
Signori and Petrescu inspired a short live fight back
Signori inspired a Foggia fight back to make it 2-1 but Gullit equalised with a bullet to make it 2-2.
Van Basten was a master finisher
Van Basten then scored a beautiful half volley to make it 3-2 before Milan ran riot with goals from Marco Simeone and Diego Fuser.
The AC Milan away shirt was beautiful
90s vintage at its best. White collar with red and black trim. Thick adidas badge. Timeless.
