Gazza will have mixed feelings when he sees the 1991-3 Tottenham Hotspur home shirt.
The white Umbro shirt made it debut as Tottenham Hotspur faced Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup final in 1991.
Gazza was only able to wear the shirt for 17 minutes as he was stretchered off after tearing his cruciate ligaments. In those 17 minutes he committed 2 horrific fouls. One that led to Stuart Pearce banging in a free kick and the other that led to his injury.
The shirt was thick white with a blue collar and huge crest. It was the final season in which Umbro as printed on the shirt with a lowercase ‘u’. This shirt is a classic with THFC embroidered in the print.
Gazza did not wear the shirt the following season as he was out injured before being sold to Lazio.
