Manchester United have a fair share of classic kits over the past few decades.
Not only have the club worn some stellar shirts, it’s about the memories those kits evoke.
That’s perhaps why, when asked to choose their favourite ever United shirt, club legends Gary Neville, Phil Neville and Ryan Giggs made a rather obvious choice.
The three players, who won it all while at Old Trafford, were asked to pore over United’s past kits by Sky Sports.
And after picking up some shirts and laughing about the players they reminded them of, Gary Neville picked up his favourite.
Holding aloft the 1998-99 season home shirts (domestic and European), Neville said, “treble-winning season, that was the League kit, that one’s the Champions League kit and that is my favourite ever United kit”.
“Agree, or not,” Neville says to his brother, Phil, and Giggs. They both nod their heads.
Take a look:
Hard to disagree with those three on that call. United have never had a better season, but have they had a better kit?
