We quite like Liverpool’s new home shirt.
It’s pretty safe, but it’s a simple and classic design that is actually rather nice when seen on the likes of Coutinho, Roberto Firmino and Adam Lallana.
But on Monday they unveiled their third kit for the coming season and it’s, well, a bit much, to say the least.
Take a look for yourself:
When we first saw a glimpse of the bright orange shirt and black trim, it made us think of a rather garish Holland kit.
Although the orange is a somewhat original choice for a Premier League team, I’m not sure many fans will be rushing to pick up the third kit over the classy red home shirt New Balance have put together.
And there’s another snag… is it really different enough from red? You can’t imagine them wearing this shirt at Old Trafford against a red-clad Manchester United, can you?
They will be debuting this kit when they face Crystal Palace this week in Hong Kong.
Let us know what you make of it in the comments.
