Sunderland have launched their new home shirt for 2017 and did so in the best way possible.
To celebrate the launch of the 2017-18 adidas kit,Sunderland AFC gave local supporters and teams the chance to debut it.
Dawdon Welfare Park FC sported the new kit and ran out 7-1 winners over Hall Farm Glasshus FC at Ashbrooke Cricket Club – of one SAFC’s former homes.
The shirt itself has a black round neck collar and trim on the sleeves with thin red and white stripes. It is a traditional look.
We think the black trim and collar look class and the launch with local fans was a nice touch.

Nice initiative, a great follow up step would be to auction off the shirts with the proceeds going to a children’s charity or such in honour of Bradley.
