Barcelona and Nike have launched their new shirt for the 2017 18 season. It is a breakaway from tradition with new stripes and sponsor and fans are unsure.
The shirt itself has sponsors on the front and the sleeve and has stripes fades in the middle of the shirt.
The sponsor on the front has been snapped up by Japan’s biggest e-commerce company Rakuten who replace Qatar Airways. It is one of football’s biggest shirt sponsorships that will earn Barcelona at least £188m over the next four seasons.
Illustrator Angelo Trofa is not happy with the additional sponsors with this concept shirt.
