He was Spanish. He was slick. And really he was considered a bit of a flop, but Jose Antonio Reyes did score some outrageous goals for Arsenal including this belter Chelsea in the FA Cup.
His first goals came at home to Chelsea in the FA Cup quarter finals.
Arsenal were losing 1-0 to an Adrian Mutu goal before Jose got involved. The first was a left-footed thunder bastard. Receiving the ball from Edu in the centre of the pitch, he cut in on his left foot and smashed it into the top corner. Boom.
The second came when Vieira broke up play in the middle and fed it through to Reyes who finished cooly past an onrushing Carlo Cudicini.
Arsenal went on to the semi-finals of the FA Cup but went the whole season unbeaten.
