Who remembers this Rod Wallace goal for Rangers vs Borussia Dortmund?

Back in 1999 Rangers faced Borussia Dortmund in the UEFA cup 3rd round and scored one of the best goals the competition has seen.

Rangers had a team full of 90s legends.  Thomas Mhyre in goal.  A midfield of Van Bronkhorst, Barry Ferguson, Claudio Reyna and Jorg “the hammer” Albertz with Rob Wallace (signed from Leeds) up front.

Dortmund had a few Championship Manager legends.  Christian Worns, Lars Ricken and Fredi Bobic.

The scoring was opened with an own goal by Jurgen Kohler.  Things would get better for Rangers, when in the 45th minute Rod Wallace rounded off an unbelievable team move.

Almost every player touched the ball in a 20 pass move.  The ball got to Albertz in the box who pulled it back for Rod Wallace to bang in.  Class.

Watch the video below.  Jonathan Pearce loved it.
