The 1991 Arsenal home shirt was a master class from adidas. It had the vintage logo, an embroidered v neck and blotched pattern on the shirt. It was worn at when Arsenal won the league in 1991 when the only conceded 18 goals.
Arsenal were managed by George Graham and walked the league built on the foundations of a solid back 5. In goal, David Seaman joined from QPR and at the back were Lee Dixon and Nigel Winterburn at full black with Steve Bould and Tony Adams at centre back.
Arsenal romped the league and in the 38 games played only conceded 18 goals (10 at home and 8 away). This has only been bettered by Chelsea in 2004 who conceded 15 goals.
I love this Arsenal shirt. The embroidered v neck collar, blotched pattern of the shirt and adidas logo. It’s class.
