Dulwich Hamlet FC have partnered with image sharing site Picfair to be their football shirt sponsor for next season. To make things even better they’re letting their fans vote on the kit design.
Dulwich Hamlet are in the 7th tier of English football and have seen their support blow up in recent years. Part of that is due to their focus on fans and also their range of locally brewed ale’s available at the Hamlet bar.
When launching their sponsor for the upcoming 2017/18 season they looked for a sponsor who had their same focus on fans.
“We’re always trying to do things a little bit differently with the community and the fans at the heart of everything,” Dulwich Hamlet’s head of communications, Tom Cullen, speaking to The Drum.
And found – friend of the Football Shirt Collective – Picfair, who share the same focus.
The Shoreditch-based image licensing company is challenging players like Getty by helping photographers license their images to global publishers while allowing them to keep full control of their royalties.
