Given his Barcelona connections, it might even be understandable for Brazil legend Romario to omit Real Madrid goal machine Cristiano Ronaldo from his all-time top-five players.
However he’s also chosen to leave Barcelona’s best-ever striker, Lionel Messi, out of his list too.
In place of who, I hear you ask. Well, we’ll get on to the full list below, but Romario has named himself as the second-best player of all-time.
Admittedly, Romario racked up an incredible number of goals over a career that saw him play at Vasco da Gama, PSV Eindhoven, Barcelona and an exceptional Brazil team, but few would put him alongside names like Pele, Maradona and the likes of Ronaldo and Messi.
All five of his chosen players have, however, won a World Cup, something neither of La Liga’s poster boys have achieved… yet.
Anyway, here’s the 51-year-old’s list, in order:
5. Zinedine Zidane
4. Ronaldo (Nazario, not Cristiano)
3. Diego Maradona
2. Romario
1. Pele
