This tribute to Real Madrid & Manchester United legend David Beckham is painstakingly beautiful

Illustrator Steph Morris has produced this beautiful drawing of David Beckham’s France 98 World Cup shirt and people are loving it.

It’s fair to say that Manchester United and Real Madrid legend David Beckham had a stinker at the World Cup in ’98.  When England played Argentina, he lost his head and booted Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone with the back of his leg.  He still thinks about it to this day.

I have nightmares about France 98. It was humiliating. It will always be with me.

Illustrator, Steph Morris paid tribute to David Beckham and the 1998 England Umbro shirt with this beautiful illustration. She follows the old school method of pencil on paper.  “A patient and painstaking approach that defies the frantic pace of the culture that she bases her work on.”

Steph is drawing it on a 1 x 1 m squared portrait.
