This Pirlo assist to Baggio for Brescia v Juventus will kick start your morning

Andrea Pirlo had some beautiful moments for Juventus, AC Milan and Italy. Freekicks, paneka penalties and majestic assists.

One of the best goals he set up came for Brescia against Juventus. He played a pass over the top to Baggio who controlled and rounded the Juventus goalie, Van der Sar.

It was chosen by Tom Clarke as his favourite.

Baggio also is a big favourite of mine and I loved his years at Brescia, one goal sticks out in my mind was against Juventus. Pirlo knocked a 35 yard ball into Baggio’s path, he see’s Van Der Saar coming out and manages to take it round him with his first touch leaving an open net for him to score. The act of taking it round the keeper is probably my favourite way of scoring. I somehow managed to score 28 goals in a season when I was 14 , most of which were one on ones, and beating the keeper with a step-over or just knocking it round him and stroking it into an empty net is just somehow more satisfying than other goals for me.
